FactCheck.org has been awarded the Webby People’s Voice Award, as voted by the public, as the best news and politics website/mobile site in the 30th Annual Webby Awards.

FactCheck.org, a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center, is a nonpartisan, nonprofit fact-checking website that serves as a “consumer advocate” for voters that “aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics.” The site’s SciCheck feature investigates false and misleading scientific claims made by partisans to influence policy.
