‘Kimberly Akimbo’ Recoups $7M Capitalization Two Years After Broadway Closing

Nearly two years to the day after the Tony-winning Kimberly Akimbo closed on Broadway – and just ahead of the production’s final stop on a national tour – the musical has recouped its investments, producers announced today.

With a Broadway capitalization of $7 million, Kimberly Akimbo began previews at the Booth Theatre on October 12, 2022, with an official opening on November 10, 2022.
