Between the Clinch County fire, another large fire in Brantley County and other fires sparking in Georgia, state data indicates more than 35,000 acres burned in all.
CLINCH COUNTY, Ga. — Wildfires continue to burn in south Georgia on Thursday, as the state has mounted a response that includes a widespread burn ban and a State of Emergency declared by Governor Brian Kemp.
The largest of the fires, the Pineland Road fire in Clinch County, has reached nearly 30,000 acres burned according to state data.
