ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. — An Adairsville officer was shot Thursday morning and a suspect was killed in return fire, the police department said.
According to the Adairsville Police Department, the situation unfolded around 1:15 a.m. when “a wanted suspect with numerous felonies compelled an Adairsville Police Officer to use deadly force to defend himself.”
