ATLANTA — More than 100 students were affected after a fire broke out Monday afternoon at a residence hall at Savannah College of Art and Design’s Atlanta campus, according to a statement from the school.
The fire occurred at the Forty residence hall, where officials said flames were contained to a single room. Atlanta Fire Rescue Department responded to the scene and quickly extinguished the fire before it could spread.
