ATLANTA — The classic television series A Different World, which helped define HBCU culture on screen in the 1990s, is officially returning with production filmed in Atlanta and a new generation of students joining familiar faces at Hillman College.
The reboot brings back original cast members alongside a refreshed storyline that continues to highlight Black college life, now updated for today’s audience and filmed across real Atlanta locations.
