Authorities seek public’s help in identifying man found in Douglasville reservoir

Douglas County authorities release tattoo renderings for recognition.

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — Douglas County authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a deceased man recovered last week from Dog River Reservoir along Highway 166.

Investigators said the unidentified male was found on May 15, 2026, in the reservoir in Douglasville. Authorities have released renderings and photographs of the man’s tattoos in hopes someone may recognize them and help identify him.
