As Realtors in Tennessee, we understand the importance of advocacy.
For years, Realtors across our state have supported the Realtor Political Action Committee, better known as RPAC, because housing policy, property rights, infrastructure, development and homeownership directly affect the work we do every day. We understand why our industry invests heavily in political advocacy, and we respect the role RPAC has historically played in protecting property owners and consumers.
But there comes a time when members must step back and ask whether the political spending tied to our profession still reflects the values Realtors publicly claim to uphold.
