ELLENWOOD, Ga. — Freddie Hendricks has taken the stage many times in life. Before hitting the teaching stage, he performed as an actor. Acting gave way to teaching, and Hendricks entered a new stage in life.
He taught at Tri-Cities High School in East Point, pioneering the school’s theatre program.
Now’s he’s staging a new chapter in his first year at Utopian Academy for the Arts, a charter school, as a middle school theatre teacher.
